TikTok Shop Fee Calculator 2026 — All 5 Markets

Calculate exact TikTok Shop fees for US, UK, MY, SG, PH. 2026 rates from official sources. Free, no signup. Includes commission, transaction, and fixed fees.

Every TikTok Shop seller asks the same question before listing a product: after TikTok takes its cut, what do I actually keep?

The honest answer is "it depends" — and it depends on more than most sellers expect. Commission changes by market, by category, and sometimes by which programme your shop is enrolled in. On top of commission, some markets add a transaction fee, some add a flat per-order fee, and a few add a pre-order fee you only pay if you opt in.

This guide gives you the 2026 numbers for all five markets we track, and the free tools to apply them to your own product.

1. Quick Fee Estimate

Start with the fast version. Every market fee page has a mini calculator built in: enter your selling price, pick your category, and you get an instant fee estimate for that market. No signup, no email, nothing stored.

That gives you the fee side only. To get profit — after COGS, shipping, ad spend and refunds — use the full profit calculator. And if you want the formula behind the numbers, read How to Calculate TikTok Shop Profit first.

Everything runs in your browser. We collect no data, which we explain in our privacy notice.

2. Commission Rates by Market

Commission is the big one, but it is never a single number. Here is the real spread across the categories we track for each market.

United States — simple, with one exception

185 of 202 US categories sit at 6.00%. The 17 at 5.00% are all Jewelry (Diamond, Gold, Jade, Platinum, Ruby/Sapphire & Emerald) and Pre-Owned goods. There are no seller tiers in the US — your rate depends only on the category.

United Kingdom — a 5% tier and a 9% default

129 UK categories pay 5.00%: Phones & Electronics, Computers & Office Equipment, most of Beauty & Personal Care, and Pre-Owned items. The remaining 217 pay 9.00%, which is the default for anything unlisted. UK rates are VAT inclusive, so 9% covers the commission and the VAT together.

Malaysia — four rates per category

Malaysia is the most tiered market we track. A category's rate depends on whether your shop is BXP (Brand Exchange Partner) or not, and whether the listing sits in the Marketplace or the Mall.

CategoryBXP MarketplaceBXP Mallnon-BXP Marketplacenon-BXP Mall
Electronics7.020%10.260%11.340%14.590%

Published bands for the whole market: BXP Marketplace 4.86% – 9.18%, BXP Mall 8.91% – 12.42%, non-BXP Marketplace 11.34% – 17.82%, non-BXP Mall 14.58% – 18.90%.

Singapore — four programmes

Singapore splits into standard, BXP, BXP-restricted and BXP-mixed:

ClusterstandardBXPBXP restrictedBXP mixed
Unlisted / all other8.175%7.085%——
Electronics & selected lifestyle7.085%5.450%7.085%4.360%
Other categories8.175%7.085%7.085%5.995%

Philippines — Marketplace vs Mall

Marketplace rates run 5.00% – 7.30%; Mall rates run 5.00% – 8.70%. If your category is not listed, the fallback is 6.70% Marketplace / 7.70% Mall.

What counts as the commission base

This is where most manual estimates go wrong, and the markets genuinely differ:

  • US, UK, SG — customer shipping charged to the buyer is added to the commission base. In the US and UK, the platform-funded discount is added too.
  • Malaysia, PH — customer shipping is not in the commission base. Commission is simply selling price minus your discount.

So a US seller charging a buyer $5 shipping is charged commission on $5 more than a Malaysian seller would be for the same charge.

3. Transaction Fees: What TikTok Takes Per Sale

A transaction fee is a second, separate charge on top of commission — and it only exists in three of our five markets.

MarketTransaction feeNotes
USNoneFolded into the referral fee; there is no separate line
UKNoneNo separate transaction fee in our UK data
Malaysia3.78%Tax inclusive, high confidence
Singapore3.27%Medium confidence
Philippines2.24%VAT inclusive

Two details worth knowing. In Malaysia and the Philippines the transaction fee is calculated on a base that includes customer shipping, so shipping quietly inflates it. In Singapore the transaction fee base additionally includes the platform-funded discount.

If you are in the US or UK, do not go looking for this fee in your Seller Center statement — you will not find it, because the commission rate already absorbs it.

4. Fixed & Per-Order Fees by Market

Fixed fees do not scale with order value, which makes them brutal on cheap products and irrelevant on expensive ones.

MarketFixed / per-order feeAmount
MalaysiaPlatform Support FeeRM 0.54 per order (from 15 Feb 2026)
PhilippinesShipping Service Fee5.25% + PHP 5 per order (opt-in)
US / UK / SingaporeNone—

Two more charges that are easy to miss because they only appear if you enrol:

  • Pre-order fee — Malaysia 2.00%, Singapore 1.09%, Philippines 2.00%. The US and UK have none in our data.
  • Singapore BXP service fee — an extra 3.27% on mixed BXP orders containing non-restricted items.

Watch your AOV. At a $6 item, RM 0.54 per order is roughly 9% of revenue before commission. The fixed fee matters more than the rate difference between two categories.

What that adds up to

Here is the platform take on a single order, before your own costs — one representative band per market, no seller discount and no affiliate.

MarketCommissionTransactionFixed / optionalPlatform take
US6.00%nonenone6.00%
UK (unlisted)9.00%nonenone9.00%
MY (non-BXP Marketplace)11.34%3.78%+ RM 0.54/order15.12% + fixed
SG (standard)8.175%3.27%none11.445%
PH (Marketplace fallback)6.70%2.24%+5.25% + PHP 5 if opted in8.94% + optional

Two conclusions jump out. The spread between markets is larger than the spread between categories within a market — a US seller at 6% has a structural advantage over a Malaysian marketplace seller at 11.34% plus a 3.78% transaction fee. And in Malaysia, Singapore and the Philippines, the transaction fee alone can exceed the entire US commission rate.

5. New Seller Promotions & How to Qualify

Promotional commission rates are the most misread number in this whole space, because they are temporary and often not published.

United States — our rate data carries a promotional rate of 1.8%, flagged internally as needs verification because TikTok does not publish it on Seller Center. Model it, but do not build your business plan on it.

United Kingdom — a new seller promotion exists within 45 days of onboarding, conditional on completing the required Seller Missions. The exact rate is not published; our data records a 0% row at medium confidence, and our calculator deliberately refuses to charge 0% — pricing a fee at zero would flatter your margin, so we mark it unpriced instead and show the standard rate.

Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines — no new seller promotion appears in our current rate data.

The practical rule: always model the standard rate as your real cost. Run the promo as an upside scenario, and re-check your margin the day it expires.

6. Category Exceptions & Special Rules

US — the $10,000 threshold. 16 US categories have a tiered threshold: the normal rate applies to your first $10,000 in sales, and only 3% applies to the portion above it. Collectibles (6% base) and Pre-Owned goods (5% base) are the affected groups. If you cross the threshold, your effective rate drops sharply.

Malaysia — missing tiers are not zero. Toys has no published BXP rows. An unpublished (category, tier) pair is treated as unpriced, never as 0%.

Singapore — restricted BXP items. Virtual products, infant formula, gold decorations and semi-finished gold are charged at the standard BXP rate of 7.085% with no BXP service fee, no matter how good your BXP terms look elsewhere. Mixed BXP orders, by contrast, combine a lower commission rate and the extra 3.27% service fee.

Philippines — 9 categories are tier-agnostic. Pre-Owned items and several Electronics rows (phones, laptops, audio/video, gaming consoles) carry the same rate whether you sell in Marketplace or Mall.

US only — refund administration fee. 20% of the referral fee, capped at $5 per SKU. Because it accrues on refunds, it is charged against you whether or not you keep the sale.

7. How Our Calculator Differs from Seller Center

Your Seller Center dashboard is the authority on your account — it reflects your negotiated rates, your programme enrolment and your live data. Use it for final truth on a real order.

Our calculator is a planning tool, and it is built differently on purpose:

  1. All five markets in one place. Seller Center is per-market. We put US, UK, MY, SG and PH side by side so you can compare before you choose where to sell.
  2. Every rate carries a confidence level and a source link. Where TikTok publishes a number, we link the Seller Center page it came from. Where it does not, we say so instead of guessing.
  3. We refuse to invent fees. An unpublished rate shows as unpriced, not as zero. That is why the UK promotion appears at the standard rate in our model.
  4. Fees only, or fees and profit. The mini calculator on each market page answers "what will TikTok take?" The full calculator answers "what will I keep?" — including COGS, outbound shipping, ad spend, returns and affiliate commission.
  5. No account, no data collection. Open the page and it works. Nothing is transmitted or stored, as detailed in our privacy notice.

For the arithmetic behind all of this, How to Calculate TikTok Shop Profit walks through the full formula fee by fee.
